During an event in Lanzhou's Gaoxin District, Wang Mingxiao, Executive Director of the Western War Zone Army Information Engineering Technology Innovation Workstation Management Committee, demonstrated how these maps can reveal details even without external lighting. Such innovations are rare globally and showcase China's growing expertise in this area.
Wang further explained that by integrating 3D printing with geographic information systems, their combat sandboxes have overcome several global challenges, achieving world-leading accuracy while significantly cutting time and costs. This is just one example of how 3D printing is transforming various sectors in China.
Currently, China's 3D printing industry is moving into a phase of accelerated development. Breakthroughs have been made in key technologies, equipment, and software systems. For instance, Hunan Huayu Hi-tech developed the world’s first open-source industrial-grade 3D printing control system, Yibo 3D launched the first micro-metal desktop 3D printer in China, and AVIC Mate introduced a vacuum induction aerosol chemical powder furnace that overcame foreign technological barriers.
The speed of industrial adoption is also increasing. According to Wang Peng, vice president of the China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute, China has established a comprehensive industrial system for additive manufacturing. Some of its processes and equipment now match or even surpass international standards, marking a shift from concept introduction to rapid growth.
3D printing is now a key technology in high-end manufacturing and repair, especially in aerospace. For example, the C919 aircraft used 3D-printed titanium alloy parts for the first time, helping reduce weight. Its applications continue to expand into medical, construction, fashion, and food industries.
Moreover, 3D printing is playing a growing role in product design, creativity, and personalization. In a 3D printing exhibition, visitors can be scanned and quickly turned into 3D printed models, serving as unique souvenirs.
According to statistics, China currently has 50 industrial 3D printing manufacturers, 100 consumer-level companies, 50 material suppliers, and 120 service providers. This thriving ecosystem is quietly reshaping daily life.
Looking ahead, the market potential is immense. Global 3D printing output grew from $2.2 billion in 2012 to $6.06 billion in 2016, tripling in five years. China's industry has also seen explosive growth, with scale-up enterprises reaching 2.03 billion yuan in 2016, up 87.5% year-on-year.
Companies like Gansu Bozijiang are optimistic about the future. Sun Guoqin, Chairman of the company, expects sales to reach 100 million yuan in 2018, reflecting strong confidence in the sector.
Internationally, China's 3D printing industry is gaining attention. Krieger, President of Stratasys Asia Pacific and Japan, emphasized the vast potential of the Chinese market and expressed commitment to expanding local support and seizing more opportunities. As the industry continues to evolve, 3D printing is set to play an even greater role in shaping the future.

Instructions:
1. Set program: 1 pin is equivalent to 15 minutes. Determine desired start time and push down pins until desired
off time.
For instance, if you want electrical devices to work from 8:00am to 11:00am and from 13:00pm to 17:00pm, you

2. Set the current time: Turning the dial clockwise until the arrow pointing to
