Important safeguards
1. Plug the Power Strip into a standard grounding duplex wall receptacle. Ensure that there are noexposed conductors.
2. Make sure electronic equipment is turned off before plugging into the surge protector outlets. Do not use extension cords
to connect equipment to the Power Strip.
3. Move power switch to "ON." Your stripe unit should be providing surge protection. Check indicator light(s) periodically (see
note). The glowing stripe indicator light shows that stripe protection is being provided.
4. Connected equipment can now be turned on.
5. The association group supports five nodes and life line function
NOTE: Check the blue "Protected" light periodically. A glowing blue indicator light shows that stripe protection is being
provided. If the blue "Protected" indicator light stops glowing, the stripe protective components have expired and will no
longer provide surge protection. In this event, the Connected Equipment Warranty is no longer valid and the stripe
protector should be replaced.
