Circuit function

In audio and video equipment, infrared remote control is widely used. The base cut-off wave mostly uses 38KHZ, and data transmission is performed by sending short bursts. This circuit uses LA7224, which integrates the preamplifier, peak hold circuit, integration circuit, etc. required to receive the signal on a single chip, which simplifies the entire circuit.

Circuit working principle

Take out the silicon photodiode in the form of current to receive infrared light. Since the signal is very weak, it needs to be amplified by about 60DB. In order to improve S / N, the resonant circuit composed of L1 and C2 is used to take out the carrier wave, and the peak value is held by the limiting circuit. C4 is an integral capacitor. According to the requirements of the manufacturer, the capacity is chosen to be 0.0047UF.

The waveform-shaped output signal can be obtained from the output lead 1. When TR1 is turned off, the "H" level is output.

The detection sensitivity varies depending on the type of sensor. The lead terminal 3 is detected when it is 50 MVP-P or more.

The 5MH coil is used for the resonant circuit, and the coil used for the stereo multiplexer can be directly used.
