In October, in the top 30 cities in India, Samsung’s market share was 26.1%, up 15.8% from the previous month; Lenovo’s (including Motorola) market share increased by 50%, ranking first with 13.4%. .
Xiaomi’s market share also surged by 41.7% to 10.7%. This is due to Red Rice Note 3 and the newly released Red Rice 3s and 3s Prime. IDC also said that Xiaomi's offline expansion strategy seems to be relatively successful so far.
At the same time, the market share of the two most important local manufacturers in India has declined. Micromax's market share in October was 6.8%, down 16.7% from the previous month. Intex's market share fell to 5.3% due to stagnant growth.
