The world's leading mobile platform and semiconductor manufacturer ST-Ericsson announced the launch of the world's fastest and lowest power consumption highly integrated LTE smartphone platform in Las Vegas, the world's largest consumer electronics show. NovaThorTM L8580 ModAp is a smart phone platform that supports LTE multimode. It integrates a full set of wireless connectivity (connecTIvity) functions and has an eQuadTM application processor with a rate of up to 2.5GHz. NovaThor L8580 will provide samples in the first quarter of 2013.
