Beyond translation, HKUST is also using its voice technology expertise to revolutionize healthcare. By working with hospitals and medical institutions, the company is developing smarter healthcare solutions that reduce the burden on doctors.
No longer do doctors need to spend hours deciphering handwritten notes or prescriptions. Instead, they can simply speak into a device, and HKUST’s technology automatically converts the recording into an electronic medical record. This not only saves time but also improves accuracy and patient care.
HKUST’s voice cloud platform, powered by Tesla P4 GPUs, can process complex medical data and convert it into readable text with 97% accuracy in Chinese. The intelligent dictation application filters out irrelevant information, making it easier for medical professionals to manage records efficiently.
Keda Xunfei has also expanded its voice cloud platform to offer a range of intelligent voice services, including the Xunfei Input Method, Xunfei Language Point, and the Consonant Voice Assistant. With 1.5 billion users and an average daily service volume of 4 billion, the platform continues to grow and evolve.
