Guangzhou UAVs Explore New Paths for Dislocation Competition

: In 2012, drone manufacturer Dajiang introduced the world's first aerial camera and opened the door to the consumer-grade drones. From 2014 to 2015, the consumer drone market ushered in the emergence of well blowouts, and the number of companies rushing into consumer drones has mushroomed. Technology giants such as Xiaomi also entered the game. However, after more than a year of market buoyancy, consumer drones began to calm down. At the 2017 CES show, domestic major consumer-grade drone manufacturers did not have a prominent display. Even last year, the globally focused Airline only reported to the media the progress of the manned drone E-184.

UAV manufacturers billion airlines and zero-degree intelligence control have been exposed to significant layoffs, drones once again become a hot topic in the scientific and technological community. In the new industry investment and market structure, how can the drone companies in Guangzhou avoid the edge of giants and form a new path of dislocation development?

Consumer-grade drone market has become Red Sea

Last year, the consumer drone market was still busy. There were no shortage of millet, GoPro, etc., but there were few manufacturers that could really compete with DJI.

A quarterly tracking report of the Chinese aerial drone market in the third quarter of 2016 issued by IDC in early December 2016 showed that from the perspective of shipments, the top three shipments of the Chinese aerial drones market in the third quarter The manufacturers are Dajiang, Zero Intelligence, and Parrot. Among them, Dajiang occupied 52% of the market, with a zero market share of 24%, Parrot's 4.6% and other brands 19%.

Guangzhou Yihang was founded by Hu Huazhi, who had the magical experience of being admitted to Tsinghua Youth Class at the age of 16. Its consumer-grade drone GHOST series features mobile phone APP operation. The reporter experienced that the GHOST drone does not require any assembly or additional remote control, reducing the user's threshold for use, and it only needs to be controlled by the smart phone App. Its "auto follow" feature enables the drone to seamlessly follow the user's actions seamlessly. The second-generation product released by Yihang Airlines uses the FPV helmet control as a selling point—the output signal of the gyro on the helmet controls the camera pitch through the ground station.

Yihang Hang drones are easier to control than Dajiang, targeting the mass consumer market. The company’s co-founder Xiong Yifang said in an interview with the reporter that Yihang wants to create a fool-class drone that can be controlled by mobile phones and realizes the dream of “everybody can fly”.

According to IDC's forecast, by 2020, the Chinese aerial drone market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 86.5%. By then, the market will reach 5.76 million units of shipments, with a market size of 25 billion yuan, of which consumer-grade products will generate less than 3.86 million units, and the market will become increasingly fierce.

In fact, from Ghost's two generations of products to E-184, Billion Airways has been looking for new market space. "Last year, we also proposed a new business model and developed new products. Among them, the industry drone is a new line of business and has signed several cooperation orders covering water, public security, real estate and other fields." Zhao Suilin, head of the government division, said.

Solar Plus

Solar PV systems have to increase the supplied voltage,by typically 4 volts,to be able to push the generated energy around your property and if not used back onto the state national grid.

The increase in voltage and losses in wiring circuits can cause inverters to prematurely shut down on over voltage setting.
