**Foreword:** I've had these speakers for a while now, but I never really knew why. Writing reviews has always been a bit of a struggle for me—there's just not much motivation. Maybe it's because this particular model isn't available in China, so I'm sharing my personal experience here, hoping it might help someone who's looking to buy. Another reason is that there are so many wireless speaker brands and models out there these days, making it hard to choose. Monster might not be the most popular brand, but I still think this one is worth mentioning. In the end, I decided to write this up because I like sharing my thoughts, and I believe this speaker is pretty good. I hope you find it useful. I went with the S3, the largest one, as shown below.   ### First, Speaker Specifications When choosing a speaker, I always start by checking the specs. Of course, specs don’t tell the whole story, but they give a good starting point. Unfortunately, there aren’t many detailed specs online for this model—like chipsets or frequency response. So I’ll share what I can. - **Channels:** 2.1 channel system - **Units:** Two high-frequency drivers on the front, one 11cm woofer at the back - **Interfaces:** Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, AUX, Optical, NFC - **Power Output:** Approximately 70W - **Dimensions:** ~41 x 15 x 10 cm - **Weight:** Around 3kg The hardware is solid for the price. The woofer uses a passive radiator, which gives it a deep, rich bass. It's not too bulky, and the build feels sturdy. The sound quality is quite good—especially for rock and vocal tracks. The bass is punchy, and the vocals are clear and smooth. However, there's no dedicated tweeter, so the treble isn't as crisp as some other models. But honestly, I don’t mind that much. High frequencies can sometimes feel harsh, and this speaker manages to strike a nice balance. On the downside, there are a few things to note: no dedicated tweeter, no advanced decoding chip, and the sound quality drops when the volume is low. ### Build Quality The speaker has a metal panel on top, with artificial leather on the upper surface. The rest is black plastic. While the craftsmanship isn't top-tier—some gaps are noticeable—it's still decent and functional. The overall texture and finish are acceptable for the price. ### Second, User Experience #### (A) Controls Control is a key part of any wireless speaker experience. This one uses touch buttons on the host unit and also connects via your phone. The buttons are responsive, though the boot time is a bit slow—around 30 seconds. There's no built-in battery, so it needs to be plugged in all the time, which limits portability. However, the handle design makes it easy to move around the house. The official app is mostly used for playing local music, and not much else. It's simple and straightforward.  ### Third, Sound Quality Sound quality is both objective and subjective. From a technical standpoint, this speaker has a decent size, power, and driver setup. The two front drivers create a good stereo image, and the bass is stronger than most compact wireless speakers. However, without a dedicated tweeter, the treble lacks some clarity. Also, there's no mention of advanced decoding support, which could have made a difference. That said, the sound is enjoyable for most casual listening. The bass is powerful, and the vocals are clear and pleasant.  ### Final Thoughts This speaker claims to be comparable to the Sonos Play:5, but I don't think they're on the same level. Their functions and positioning are different. For around $200, I think it's a solid purchase. However, it's currently out of stock on Amazon, or maybe it's just not selling well. The brand doesn’t seem to promote it very well, which is a shame. If the price were between $100 and $150, it would be even more appealing. This is just my personal take. I hope it helps.
