Lighting Internet "one shoulder pick" law enterprises invented the Internet light bulb

According to a report by Agence France-Presse on January 11th, a French startup named Oledcomm made waves at the Las Vegas International Consumer Electronics Show with its revolutionary light bulbs. These bulbs are equipped with LiFi technology, allowing users to access the internet wirelessly without relying on traditional radio waves. This innovative approach offers a faster and more secure alternative to Wi-Fi, making it an attractive option for modern connectivity needs. Oledcomm’s CEO, Oljay Azulay, expressed his ambition to launch the bulb system in the consumer market this year, with an estimated price of around $900 per unit. The company claims that their MyLiFi bulb is the first commercial product to bring LiFi technology into the mass market. Unlike Wi-Fi, which uses radio frequencies, LiFi utilizes LED bulbs to transmit data through visible light signals. This method has been refined over the years and is now ready for broader adoption. A diagram illustrating the "online bulb" concept was showcased, highlighting how the system works. The bulb connects to a wall-mounted internet socket via an Ethernet cable, and devices equipped with micro-receivers can then access the internet through the light emitted by the bulb. According to Azulay, the system is “very safe” because the signal doesn’t penetrate walls, offering better privacy and security compared to traditional wireless networks. Oledcomm targets both professional and consumer markets. Their product appeals to individuals concerned about electromagnetic radiation or parents worried about children's screen time, as the signal range is limited and doesn't spread beyond the room. In the professional sector, the technology is ideal for environments where minimizing electromagnetic interference is crucial—such as kindergartens, hospitals, and other sensitive areas. Industry experts predict that the global LiFi market could reach $75 billion by 2023, signaling a significant shift in how we think about wireless communication. As companies like Oledcomm continue to innovate, the future of internet connectivity may be brighter than ever.
