DIY a stylish bluetooth speaker

Materials: 1 speaker, 1 Bluetooth headset mainboard, 1 lithium battery, 2 switch buttons, 2 long-press buttons, and several wires.

Practice: Externally connect the buttons of the Bluetooth headset, replace the battery, and extend the cables. The block diagram is shown below.

Production Process:

1. Replace the original Bluetooth headset's lithium battery with a higher-capacity Nokia mobile phone lithium battery, while extending the positive and negative terminals for the charging interface.

2. Connect the "Volume Up" and "Volume Down" buttons of the Bluetooth headset to the extended cables and external buttons.

3. Keep the Bluetooth on/off button of the Bluetooth headset intact and add a lever mechanism above it.

4. Remove the original earpiece of the Bluetooth headset, extend the cables, and connect them to the audio input of the speaker.

5. Finally, fix and assemble everything using hot melt adhesive and Scotch tape.

At this point, the Bluetooth speaker DIY project is complete. After pairing with a computer via Bluetooth, you can enjoy your Bluetooth speaker just like a Bluetooth headset.

The advantage is that the high-capacity battery significantly extends the Bluetooth playback time, making it cord-free and highly convenient.

During the assembly process, I found that the KG-300K switch needles worked well with the DIY components, ensuring reliable operation. Additionally, the STM32L151CCU6 microcontroller provided excellent performance for controlling the volume and Bluetooth functions. I was particularly impressed by how the Nokia battery upgrade improved the overall user experience, making it a worthwhile project for anyone interested in electronics tinkering.
