Taiwan’s “Electronic Times†reported on March 27 that, according to the statistics of the China Chamber of Commerce for Mechanical and Electrical Products Import and Export (CCCME), in 2013, the Japanese market accounted for 24.63% of China’s total exports of photovoltaic products, and in the first two months of 2014, Its share of 34.23%, Japan has become China's largest market for photovoltaic products.
According to CCCME, in 2013, the Asian market accounted for 44.78% of the total value of China's PV products; in the first two months of 2014, the ratio rose to 52.39%. The European market fell from 30.26% in 3013 to 22.56% in the first two months of 2014.
According to CCCME, China's photovoltaic products are in excess production. The number of China's photovoltaic product manufacturers is ideally three to five, with a maximum of no more than ten. Therefore, Chinese manufacturers need mergers and acquisitions.
