Shanghai, China – April 14, 2016 – The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) recently announced its 2016 Blue University LIVE calendar. Blue University LIVE is a full-day training program for Bluetooth® technology developers worldwide for Bluetooth® developers. Developers will learn how to build and connect Bluetooth devices from this face-to-face training program, and turn the IoT ideas into reality with the tools and resources of the Bluetooth Technology Alliance.
Steve Hegenderfer, director of Bluetooth Technology Alliance Developer Program, said: "The many features of Bluetooth technology, such as universality, interoperability and open architecture, allow developers to create secure, scalable connections." Based on the widely used Bluetooth development tool Bluetooth Developer Studio, University LIVE will teach developers how to significantly reduce development time and bring products to market quickly. The single-year shipment of Bluetooth devices will reach 5 billion units in 2021, bringing a broad market for IoT connectivity. Blue University LIVE will cover the entire development process from initial coding to marketing. The training is delivered by industry experts, including how to use the Bluetooth Developer Studio, create sample code, implement code, build mobile applications, and introduce Bluetooth technology alliance product certification requirements.
