This technical requirement is for an indoor network-linked lighting control system that includes a combination of sensors, network interfaces, and controllers that affect lighting effects, but does not include the fixture itself.

By surveying 25% of existing network-linked lighting control system (NLC) manufacturers have the need for energy efficiency. There is a 50% planned demand for the 2017 plan. With the implementation of the technical requirements of NLC, the importance of energy saving is not inferior to the achievements of the lamps.

The dimmer specifications in foreign markets are relatively perfect. When consumers buy, they can easily find dimming products that are specific manufacturers and models. As we all know, the certification requirements for LED lighting products in the European and American markets are very strict. For dimming products, there is no separate certification standard, but the lighting fixtures with dimmers are tested and certified.

According to Zhang Hong, “There are four aspects to the certification of products equipped with dimmers. First, for noise certification, when the lamps are used with dimmers, will noise be generated; second, frequency Flash certification, after the lamp plus the dimmer, there will be flickering and dimming, which will cause visual fatigue. Third, after the lamp is equipped with the dimmer, the luminous flux of the lamp itself will not be affected; Fourth, sex On a large scale, the battery is compatible with the lamp after adding the dimmer."

With the gradual increase of domestic commercial lighting and home lighting, the application of intelligent dimming of LED lamps will also be rapidly improved.

Especially after the end of the LED universal lighting replacement tide, there will be a wave of replacement for the next wave of intelligent lighting. At present, various IC manufacturers are doing the corresponding layout, and developing corresponding dimming ICs for unnecessary needs.

Fan Zhikai, general manager of Zhuo Naipu, believes that "smart lighting is mainly reflected in emotions such as dimming, color matching, flirting, perception, induction, and sensibility. Dimming is the common pursuit of the industry. In the future, the dimming IC will definitely be trend."

There are three most common dimming methods on the market today: PWM dimming, thyristor dimming, and linear dimming. Affected by the development trend of high integration, integration, de-energization, batch, standardization, and intelligence, the linear intelligent constant current drive scheme will become a future trend.

"Domestic IC factories must have innovative products to gradually change the pattern of foreign IC-led markets. It is meaningless to talk about prices as an IC manufacturer. The most important thing depends on what you have done for the industry and can solve customers' problems. For thyristor dimming applications, combined with the needs of different customers, Mingwei Electronics has introduced a variety of combined applications such as switching power supplies and linear power supplies. In March of this year, Mingwei Electronics successfully developed a new product, "Silicon Synchronous Color Modulation and Driving Solution SM2399E", which became a driving solution for customers.

According to industry sources, the existing thyristor control technology on the market only achieves the adjustment of brightness, and does not see a linear constant current drive scheme that can simultaneously adjust the brightness and color temperature.

The core of the thyristor synchronous dimming color tone driving scheme SM2399E is to adopt a linear constant current scheme to realize the dimming color temperature of the thyristor, which not only has more diversified functions, but also realizes innovation and breakthrough in the circuit.

According to Li Zhaohua, “At present, the thyristor synchronous dimming color scheme driver SM2399E is in the process of patent application.”

For LED lighting fixtures for dimming IC products, Jiamei Lighting said, “Lighting companies will use dimming IC products according to customer requirements for lighting. The application scenarios are different, and the requirements for light color are also different. Light-toned products can be adjusted as needed."

Although the current linear IC technology has matured, there are still some technical problems. Conventional light efficiency can be achieved in terms of parameters, but it is still unrealistic to achieve it completely.

Since the development of the lighting market, the dimming color drive technology will soon become the standard product of LED lamps, occupying a large market share.

"Moore's Law tells us that to do IC products, the two factors of time and quantity are indispensable. Whoever wins the market first is the final winner." Fan Zhikai said.
